Guest Speakers

Aaron Grau square

Aaron Grau | Executive Director
IIUSA | Invest in the USA

Before joining IIUSA in 2018, Aaron Grau was General Counsel for an Alexandria, Virginia-based boutique lobbying firm. While there, Mr. Grau developed extensive experience establishing, managing, and growing trade associations, including the National Job Corps Association and the National Organization of Rehabilitation Partners.

Given associations’ ability to leverage broad-based platforms to impact policy, economics, and business, he maintained his interest and abilities in trade association management throughout his career and is now a Certified Association Executive (CAE) through the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).

Mr. Grau also served as Majority Counsel to the US Senate Health Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee where he developed Senate hearings and negotiated and drafted several pieces of federal legislation. He was part of the Senate team that created the Workforce Investment Act, a bipartisan bill signed into law during a Rose Garden ceremony in August 1998.

Mr. Grau has a BA from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and a Juris Doctorate from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He is licensed to practice law in Florida, Georgia, the District of Columbia, and the Federal Courts and has been honored by the State of Ohio for his legislative work on behalf of people with disabilities.


Bill Gresser | President & Founder
EB-5 NY State Regional Center

Bill Gresser is the president and founder of EB-5 New York State, LLC. Since the company’s founding in 2007, Mr. Gresser has managed the successful completion of numerous EB-5 investment projects and helped EB-5 investors and their families achieve their immigration and investment objectives.

Mr. Gresser is a leader in the EB-5 industry. He is the President and a member of the Board of Directors of Invest In the USA (IIUSA), the largest trade association of Regional Centers, attorneys, and others in the EB-5 industry. He is also active in the industry’s government affairs activities in pursuit of industry reform and reauthorization.

Mr. Gresser is a regular speaker on advanced EB-5-related topics and is sought out by Regional Centers and developers throughout the U.S. Prior to founding the Company, Mr. Gresser was an attorney and a successful business executive.

Mr. Gresser obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University, a law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center and a Masters in Business Administration from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, all with honors.


David Morris square

David Morris | National EB-5 Investor Visa Committee Chair
AILA | American Immigration Lawyers Association

Based in Washington DC, David Morris has practiced exclusively in immigration law since 1992.

David currently (2023-2024) serves as Chair of AILA’s National EB-5 Investor Visa Committee, a role he has held for the past three years.

David Morris is the Senior Editor of the leading EB-5 legal book in the field, “AILA Immigration Options for Investors & Entrepreneurs” for both the 3rd Edition (2015) and the most recent 4th Edition (2019). David has also served as an Expert Witness on EB-5 legal issues in state and federal court.


Ishaan Khanna | President & Founder
AIIA | American Immigrant Investor Alliance

Ishaan Khanna is based in Washington, D.C., where he cultivates strategic partnerships and educates policymakers, stakeholders, and prospective investors about the benefits and challenges of the EB-5 program.

Ishaan is currently the Director of Business Development at EB5 Capital, an EB-5 investment issuer that has raised over a billion dollars of foreign capital across more than 35 investment offerings.

Originally an EB-5 investor himself, he is now a seasoned EB-5 professional and a passionate advocate for the EB-5 investor community. He is the President of the American Immigrant Investor Alliance (AIIA), a non-profit organization that fights for the issues most important to EB-5 investors from across the world.
