Standing with IPO Examiners

USCIS Immigrant Investor Program (IPO) officers are essential to making the EB-5 visa program work. To grow competence and concomitant public trust in the expertise of the adjudications corps, we need IPO officers to be experts in the EB-5 domain. We can’t grow adjudication experts in this complex area if the IPO personnel are laid off, particularly at this critical year 3 of the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act (RIA)’s existence.

Read Suzanne Lazicki’s blog which sounds the alarm. We can support Government efficiency and waste reduction and at the same time support providing IPO with the resources it needs to carry out the RIA’s purpose. It’s a noble one of promoting U.S. job creation by providing a pathway to U.S. citizenship for investors undertaking the required risk. Hopefully, a connection between those ends and an investment in the IPO itself will be drawn to keep the IPO workforce intact and growing in proficiency.
