USCIS public engagement march 13 2020

Read my IIUSA blog analyzing the March 13, 2020 USCIS EB-5 Stakeholder Engagement on the new I-526 petition process. Effective March 31, 2020, the new “inventory management” approach will prioritize petitions with visa availability. Quicker visa processing is anticipated in 12-18 months as a result.

See the most recent Visa Bulletin to see visa availability in the EB-5 category. Note that USCIS explained at the Stakeholder meeting that USCIS will use Chart B on the Visa Bulletin to determine visa availability. See example of Chart B in the Visa Bulletin. This is Chart B from the April 2020 Visa Bulletin:

VB dates for filing Apr 2020 2

My recording of the EB-5 engagement is here.
