Carolyn Lee Quoted in Bloomberg Law re: USCIS EB-5 Process Change

See the article on Bloomberg Law news here.

Carolyn Lee quotes:

“This is a measure, presumably, to increase efficiency, address fairness and issues in visa allocation,” said Lee, who heads the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s National EB-5 Committee. But there’s “tremendous operational opacity” in EB-5 adjudications right now, Lee added.

“We have lots of questions about the unreasonably lengthy processing times, and why USCIS is taking so long to move through the current caseload it has, and we really need a better explanation so we can know what’s going on and advise our clients.”

See CLP post for more information about the new USCIS processing change.
