EB-5 Notes – What EB-5 Needs Now

What EB-5 Needs Now

January 27, 2020

We start another year in EB-5 without long-term reauthorization. Yet, even in this environment, there are brave ventures and reassuring constancy in EB-5 – new businesses exploring regional center formation, great projects rebooting to meet new regulations’ requirements, advisors delivering steadfast guidance amid lengthening processing times and heightened risk.

But we don’t have the one thing we in EB-5 need, and that is certainty that the Program will continue without dependence on annual budget-related uncertainties.

With the intention of moving us toward long-term EB-5 regional center program reauthorization, here is a reprisal of a message in my informational packet included with IIUSA Seattle conference materials last October. The message: integrity first. The rest will follow.
